Lockyer Sheds is a Queensland business based at 2 Harm Drive, Crowley Vale, with a Brisbane office at Capalaba. It is a registered business name of Builtwise Group Pty Ltd. We design, supply and build custom steel sheds, garages, carports and farm and industrial buildings, deliver shed kits, and make light gauge steel frames, trusses and floors, with building work carried out under QBCC licence 15445275.
Between the Downs and Brisbane
Our yard at Crowley Vale sits between Gatton and Laidley, on the road between Toowoomba and Ipswich. From here Toowoomba is about 46 km by road, Ipswich about 46 km and Brisbane about 81 km, so farms on the Downs, blocks in the Lockyer and Somerset, and homes and businesses across Brisbane, Ipswich and Logan are all within reach. The Brisbane office at Capalaba looks after customers on the bayside and south side (by appointment).
What we do
Most of our work is custom steel buildings: backyard sheds and garages, carports and garaports, American and Oz barn-style sheds, farm and machinery sheds, and industrial sheds and warehouses. We design each one for its site and use, and supply it as a kit or build it, including the slab and the approval paperwork if you want us to. For builders and owner-builders we also supply light gauge steel wall frames, roof trusses and floor systems made to plan.

You won't find invented numbers on this website. We don't publish prices, lead times or warranty terms that depend on the job; they are confirmed in your written quote. The photographs of sheds and buildings are our own work; images marked as illustrations are not.
Our licence and responsibilities
Building work in Queensland is licensed by the Queensland Building and Construction Commission. Our building work is carried out under Builtwise Group Pty Ltd's licence 15445275 (Builder – Open). Outside Queensland we supply and deliver only.

Design and quote
We design the building for your site's wind classification and your use, and quote a kit or a finished build in writing.
Drawings and approvals
Engineering and drawings for your certifier. We can prepare and lodge the building approval paperwork for you.
Slab and site
We can pour the slab or footings to the engineering. Site works and services are listed in the quote.
Delivered or built
Your kit is delivered to site, or our crew builds it anywhere in our Queensland service area.
Handover
Final inspection by your certifier, and the paperwork for your records.
